Bravo Company, 344th MI BN 2026 change of command

Continuity of leadership helps ensure Soldiers trained at Goodfellow Air Force Base are prepared to provide military intelligence to the joint force, as U.S. Army Bravo Company, 344th Military Intelligence Battalion, welcomed a new commander during a change of command ceremony, Aug. 7.

During the ceremony, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Remington Whiteside, outgoing 344th MI BN Bravo Company commander, relinquished command to Capt. Andres Sanchez, signifying the formal transfer of the unit's authority and responsibility.

The change of command ceremony is a longstanding military tradition that represents the transfer of authority and responsibility while honoring the continuity of leadership and commitment to the mission.

Lt. Col. Jonathan Lovelace, 344th MI BN commander, recognized Whiteside for his service and leadership while welcoming Sanchez as the company's commander.
