Netanyahu to Present Trump with Military Actions on Iran
Citing informed sources who spoke to a news agency, the report said Netanyahu will provide Trump with updated intelligence regarding Iran’s ballistic missile program. Israel is increasingly prioritizing this issue over the nuclear file, amid what it views as a growing threat from Tehran and its efforts to rebuild missile and air defense systems.
The sources noted that “Tel Aviv claims Iran is accelerating the rehabilitation of production facilities damaged in previous attacks, while simultaneously working to restore its air defense systems.”
According to the report, “The scenarios under discussion range from an Israeli unilateral strike, to obtaining limited US backing, to carrying out a joint military operation — up to a direct US move against targets inside Iran.”
Tel Aviv further estimates that “Iran’s renewed production of ballistic missiles could increase to 3,000 per month if left unchecked.”
The broadcaster added that the meeting will also cover Iran’s nuclear program, particularly the restoration of enrichment facilities, as well as issues tied to financing and arming groups aligned with Tehran in the region.
Former US officials cautioned that any disputes or delays in enforcing the Gaza ceasefire could influence Trump’s readiness to fully support new military action against Iran.
