Nigerian military release statement of arresting twenty-one individuals
According to a military statement broadcast on national television, 13 of the suspects are foreign nationals, while the other eight are Nigerien citizens. A search of the vehicles revealed items with potential military use, including camouflage clothing, communication and surveillance equipment, fuel containers, cash, and a significant stockpile of food.
The detainees and confiscated materials have been transported to the capital, Niamey, and handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
